Scrambled Bread / Bread Upma Recipe
Ingredients
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp
- Onion – 1 fine chopped
- Tomato – 1 fine chopped
- Green Chilli – 1 fine chopped
- Pepper Powder – ¼ tsp
- Bread – 3 slices Diced into cubes or scrambled
- Egg – 1
- Salt as needed
- Cilantro / Coriander leaves – few fine chopped
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large flat bottomed skillet. Add onions and saute till onion turns translucent
- Add tomato and saute till tomatoes are cooked and mushy
- Add Green chilli, pepper powder and combine well in medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Add egg, bread, salt and toss gently so that bread gets coated with egg and the spices.
- In medium heat stir gently for 5 minutes so that egg coated bread gets cooked
- Garnish with loads of Cilantro / Coriander leaves
- Spicy Scrambled Bread / Bread Upma is ready to be served hot
