CHILLI GARLIC EGG NOODLES is an all time favorite. This noodles recipe is mild in spice, sweetness and the roasted garlic flavor enhances both taste and aroma. Those who need a spicy version , may add 1 – 2 teaspoon of red chilli paste. My family is very fond of noodles and love chinese noodles recipes to the core.

When we crave for chinese noodles, we drop in at any of the neighboring eating outlets and get our favorites ordered. Eating out late night is a fun and we all enjoy those cold nights.

How To Make Chilli Garlic Egg Noodles

CHILLI GARLIC EGG NOODLES is an indo chinese dish prepared by stir frying noodles in chilli sauces and soy sauces along with roasted garlic

  • 500 grams Noodles
  • 5 tablespoon oil
  • 10 Garlic cloves
  • 12 Dry Red chilli
  • 1 Onion
  • 5 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoon Green chilli sauce
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 teaspoon Sugar
  • 3 tablespoon Vinegar
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 Eggs


  • Boil 7 cups of water in a deep bottommed pan
  • Add noodles to hot boiling water
  • Let noodles get 90% cooked
  • Drain noodles in a colander.
  • Sprinkle or rinse noodles with cold water to stop cooking.
  • Set aside
  • While noodles gets cooked, mince garlic to a coarse paste
  • Fine chop dry red chilli similar to red chilli flakes
  • Fine chop onion and keep aside
  • Heat 4 tablespoon oil in a large flat wok. Turn to medium heat
  • Add minced garlic and saute till light brown in color
  • Add fine chopped dry red chilli and saute for one minute
  • Add chopped onion and saute till it turns translucent
  • Add soy sauce and combine well
  • Add green chilli sauce and combine together
  • Add salt to the wok
  • Add sugar and mix well
  • Add Vinegar and mix well
  • Add water and let it come to a boil
  • Let the sauce cook for a minute in high heat
  • Continue in high heat, add cooked noodles to the skillet and stir so that noodles get coated with the sauce.
  • Once noodles absorbs all of the sauce turn off the stove
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in another flat skillet. Break all eggs and cook till you get scrambled egg
  • Garnish with noodles with scrambled egg and cilantro
  • Serve Chilli garlic egg noodles in a plate


  • Drizzle a few drops of olive oil before serving
  • Instead of Green chilli sauce, red chilli sauce can be used
  • Add spring onions to boost the flavor and taste. (I did not have spring onions while preparing this recipe)
